The 2019 edition of the Challenge concluded on 7 September, with the efforts of the 14 teams assessed by a panel of judges from a
variety of industries such as information technology, healthcare and engineering.

Researchers from the NUS Institute for Health Innovation & Technology (iHealthTech) developed the novel STAMP technology that could sensitively and accurately detect and classify cancer cells, as well as determine the disease aggressiveness from the least invasive biopsies.
